Lisianthus ‘Lissy’ Wynncraft
Age: Unknown
Descendant of: Unknown.
Bio: Don’t let Lissy’s youthful and innocent appearance fool you, she’s old...very old and mighty strong to boot, her exact age is known only by the Elders and Lissy herself though some say she was mothered by one of the ‘first’ and that she is cousin to Lezabel the Taker, this of course, is mere hearsay, isn’t it? Lissy is what is known as a Weaver, a witch born with the rare ability to enter and manipulate weaker minds and more often than not bend them entirely to her will, a dangerous skill which is found wholly in the darkest of witches and for this reason Lissy has been refused a place amongst the Elders, you see Lisianthus would tip the scales resulting in the balance between light and dark being lost, however Lissy does not know this and believes her place, at the head of the coven ,has been snubbed out of arrogance and spite, she has therefore vowed to go to any length to ensure she claims it. Lisianthus lives on the edge of Bythell Hollow with her only surviving descendant Umber Folland.

//Story//
The shadows danced against the stone wall as the dim light flickered softly. I sat before the Elders as silent as they, though I knew the lack of sound on their part was merely a veil cast to exclude me from their discussion. Two candles had burned to the quick by the time the silence was finally broken, Emerence the first to speak.
“Lisianthus, we cannot accept your request, I am sorry” Her words, though gently spoken, pierced my chest.
“What!” More an exclamation of my shock than a question.
“She said” spoke Hellebore, exaggerating her words as if talking to a child “we cannot accept you” her waning interest was apparent as she began to absently caress the small looking glass that hung from the golden chain around her neck. The sound of my beating heart began to drum inside my ears as anger rose within me.
“I am of the First, as are you, yet you deny me my right of birth?” The last words were edged with more venom than I had intended though I quickly steadied myself.
“It is not yet your time.” spoke Emerence once more, her shining eyes imploring me to heed her words but in that instant I understood, I understood quite clearly.
“Not my time!” I shouted, my blood now thundering. “I have waited patiently, I have done as you have bidden, I have protected my Sisters from harm and this is how I am repaid?” My hair began to swirl and lift from my shoulders with the invisible breeze of my rising power, it was not a conscious summoning but my rage would not be sated until it was released.
“ENOUGH!” A booming voice echoed around the room which had suddenly grown colder. The buzz of my gift dissipated and as my eyes refocused Lezabel stood before me.“You have had your answer, leave us.” I knew that to argue now would be ineffective so instead, wordlessly, I turned on my heels and exited but this would not be the end to the matter, no, how dare they tell me I could not take my place with them at the head of the coven, was I not their equal? Had I not proved myself? That was surely it, they were threatened by my gift and its strength, they wanted to stifle it else I threaten their position, well now they were right to be afraid, because I /would/ take what was mine by heritage and I would use whatever means necessary to obtain my seat.
I picked my way carefully through the undergrowth to find my way back to the path and in doing so spotted a black serpent coiled upon itself, half hidden by a fallen branch. I took a deep calming breath and sent my mind forth, easily weaving my will into its own. The serpent began to rise as if standing at the same time that beating wings descended from above. A smile curled my lips as the large raven snatched its prey from by my feet and in that instant an idea began to form.
